Inspired by Transylvania’s colourful cultural background we have created a contemporary cuisine incorporating new directions, new tastes. We are inviting you on this journey of discovery.
In 1568 Bistro every single brick and stone is scented with the stories and culinary memories of the past. The year 1568, as a symbol of religious freedom, inspired us to discover the perception of freedom in a culinary context. This menu is the result of this discovery: a new interpretation, a contemporary return to our roots, where the all-familiar tastes are seasoned with a new spirit. In our menu you will find Romanian, Hungarian, Saxon, Jewish and Armenian dishes in our personal interpretation.

Breakfast
Between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM, from Monday to Sunday, we have more types of breakfast, for the menu please go to the breakfast menu section.
Soups
In our menu, you can find the traditional soups with a twist, with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
Main dish
Every main dish is based on traditional Transylvanian recipes, made from local and fresh ingredients. From Monday to Friday, we serve a three course lunch menu: soup, main dish and dessert.
Dessert
We invite you to try our desserts, which are specific to the Transylvanian cuisine. Our favorite dessert is the combination of créme brulée and Szekler chimney cake.
